La Doux is a new independent publishing house dedicated to children's literature and comics, founded by two seasoned professionals in the field: Karine Leclerc and Sophie Chanourdie.

Their books build bridges between genres (picture books, novels, comics, poetry) and age groups, from early childhood to young adulthood. Bold and joyful, La Doux relies on a network of renowned authors as well as fresh new voices, placing them at the heart of its creative journey.

The name La Doux comes from a small river that runs alongside the Moulin de La Doux in Corrèze. This place embodies their DNA, their roots, and their deep commitment to artistic creation.
Alongside the publishing house, the Résidences du Moulin de la Doux offer writers a dedicated space and time to nurture inspiration and creativity.

This spirit shines through in books such as the already iconic Marvellous Poo by Mathis, and the poetic Baby Inside, Baby Outside by Antoine Guilloppé, first published in September 2025.
