    THE AUTHOR - ILLUSTRATOR

     

    Antoine Guillopé was born in Chambéry, France. After studying at the École Émile Cohl in Lyon, he turned towards children’s illustration. He began by illustrating numerous novel covers before publishing several children’s books as both author and illustrator, including Akiko la curieuse and Loup Noir.
    With Pleine Lune, he launched an incredible series of laser-cut books at Gautier-Languereau: Pleine Neige, Plein Soleil, Pleine Mer, Plein Désert, Pleine Brume. Many of his books have received literary awards. He now lives in the Paris area.

    He won a Bologna Ragazzi Awards Special Mention in 2024 – category: Sea, with Pleine Mer.
