Dig It! - A Bone Detectives' Investigation

  • Just like a real scientist, the reader investigates, handles, observes, compares and deduces. A perfect gift for budding archaelogists!

Let's join a team of archaeologists working on a prehistoric site. An animal skeleton has just been discovered. What is it doing there? Who did it belong to? Was it hunted, eaten…?

Through flaps to lift, drawers to open and visual comparisons, the reader examines the clues and pieces together the animal's story:

    · They identify the different bones by comparing them to those of a mammoth.

    · They identify the mysterious skull by consulting a genuine library of skeletons.

    · They analyse the jaw to find out the animal's age and diet.

    • Interactive: hands-on activities, flaps and drawers for learning through exploration.
    • Immersive: a genuine scientific investigation adapted for children
    • Educational: observation, deduction and accessible scientific vocabulary
    • Well-researched: clear information on prehistoric fauna and archaeology
