    THE AUTHOR

     

    Nadine Robert, the founder of the publishing house Comme des géants, has always had a strong passion for illustrated children’s books that have a powerfully built narrative approach combined with
    strong images. She is a recent recipient of the 2022 Governor General’s Award for her story Clover, and has received Best Book of the Year honours from Kirkus and a New York Times/New York Public
    Library Best Illustrated Children’s Book award
    . She lives in Montréal with her family.

     

     

    THE ILLUSTRATOR

     

    Philip Giordano is a renowned Italian-born artist and illustrator, whose works are instantly recognizable for their colorful, geometric universes. His art has been featured by publications and publishing houses around the world, and Giordano is known for everything from illustrating book covers, to designing toys, and creating children's animation. His work has received international acclaim, including the Silver Medal from the Society of Illustrators, the White Raven Award, and the International Illustration Prize at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair. Giordano now lives in Tokyo.
