About this book
Meet the Miniminimus, cute little creatures living on a small isolated island.
Half-animals, half-plants, the Miniminimus are tiny, but they are many… and they live on a very small island. To overcome the lack of space, everything in their life is miniature: the houses, furniture, objects… The whole society encourages restriction and respects the ones who take minimum space. All the Miniminimus have leaves on the top of their heads, but only males have the right and duty to grow it; females must contain it.
One day, it becomes impossible for all the Miniminimus to stay on the island. This is how they will meet other creatures, the Maximaximus, who live on the other side of the sea, are welcoming and generous, and have an opposite way of life, sleeping in enormous houses and eating food bigger than them.
But do peace and happiness lie in size and profusion?
• A humorous metaphorical comic book about gender repartition in public space, and how fear can deprive people from curiosity for the outside world.
• Two types of society: a population ready to erase itself to survive versus a conquering population who consumes without taking care of its environment.
