The Nut Seeker
A little squirrel has lost his nuts. Without missing a beat, he sets off to find them and asks all the animals he meets: the field mouse, the mole, the owl, the hedgehog, the hare, the deer...
Each animal points him on a trail which becomes clearer as the pages go by, helping the little squirrel find his meal, which he can share with his family.
This charming story explores the world of the autumn forest and its animals. It takes up all the fundamentals of the cumulative tale, so popular in children's literature, while at the same time conveying universal values of mutual help and sharing.
