THE AUTHOR
Cristina Camarena is the founder and editor of Savanna Books and Revista Pantera (Spain), and developed this book in collaboration with the team of biologists and ecologists from Revista Pantera.
THE ILLUSTRATOR
Patricia Pessoa is a Brazilian illustrator based in the west of England. Her work is strongly inspired by nature and naive art, and it's full of texture and brushstrokes. Although she’s been working with digital
illustration for years, Patricia finds true joy in the unpredictability of traditional media.
Patricia is currently enrolled at Cambridge School of Art for an MA in Children's Book Illustration. Recent clients include Penguin Random House, Harper Collins, and Magic Cat Publishing.
