WORKING COVER AND SPREADS
Do You See What I Can See?
A book bursting with daft, delightful pictures, with one final surprise in store: the reader becomes part of the story.
— Look! Look at what I can see!
A little boy hands his friend a pair of binoculars and invites her to spot something extraordinary…
What she sees is indeed surprising: a duck in wellington boots, a knight in a crowd, an elephant playing chess with a hippopotamus, a crocodile on roller skates…
Her friend insists. That's not it! She must look straight ahead.
Suddenly, two big eyes appear!
Startled and frightened, she lets out a loud cry!
But the surprise is for the reader too: it is their very own eyes they discover — staring back at them from a mirror.
