An educator and editor by training, Nuri Torrelles began her career as a teacher in 1983, then founded the publishing house ADDITIO in 1987, specializing in educational materials. From 2003, she devoted more than sixteen years to the Marimurtra Botanical Garden in Blanes, where she created a scientific outreach department and developed educational activities around the plant world. Alongside this, she collaborated with Bitò Producciones (2004–2006), designing educational resources based on theatre performances for young audiences. In 2011, she co-published the collection Camins de Salut, six guides on the medicinal plants of the Girona regions. In 2020, she co-founded the publishing house entreDos, focused on picture books, fiction, and comics.
