Telepathy

  • Choosing the same game, drawing with the same colors, raising their hands at the same time. Every time he thinks or does something... she does too. The protagonist doesn’t quite understand what’s happening to him and his friend. His sister has a theory: it’s telepathy. Could that be it?

A sweet story to understand that sometimes the closest connection to a friend can feel wonderfully surreal, but that it's also good to have different tastes and views... This tenderly illustrated book is also a joyful immersion in a child's mind, both brimming with scientific curiosity, and open to believing the most incredible theories.

    THE ILLUSTRATOR

Jaque Jours is a Mexican illustrator who likes to write and paint stories with traditional techniques. She has worked on projects for brands and editorial illustration for periodicals and digital projects. In 2023, she was awarded a FONCA (National Foundation for the Arts and Culture) fellowship by the Mexican Government to make her first picture book: The Muéganos.

She studied Architecture & Interior Design, and she's currently working on my thesis to obtain a Master’s Degree in Literature. Both things led her to discover her passion for painting and illustrating books.
